Tri-Rail

Tri-Rail is the Tri-County commuter rail system. Tri-Rail has 18 stations along the eastern corridor of Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties.

 

To get to campus from Tri-Rail, get off at the Fort Lauderdale Station, which is located on the West side of I-95 on Broward Blvd. Take the FL1 Shuttle to the Broward County Transit (BCT) Central Bus Terminal, and take Route # 40 which provides direct connection to campus. 

 

Fare

 

Students receive a 50% discount on monthly, roundtrip, and one-way tickets.

 

Faculty & Staff receive a 25% discount on monthly or 12-trip tickets through the Employer Discount Program (EDP). Click Here to enroll as an EDP member.

Miami-Dade Transit (MDT)

MDT is the transit system which brings you to destinations within Miami-Dade County and connects you to Broward County Transit. Sun Trolley

The Sun Trolley is Fort Lauderdale’s Community Bus Service which brings you to destinations in Fort Lauderdale with their vintage-style trolleys. The Sun Trolley passes right by The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale Campus to connect you to world-class dining, shopping, beaches, and entertainment. Just wave to the driver and the bus will stop to pick you up. Most fares are as little as $.0.50 to ride.
